1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Rapid Momentum Consulting (“RAMC,” “we”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on theramc.com (the “Site”). It supplements our Privacy Policy and should be read alongside it.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device when you visit them. They allow the website to recognise your device, remember preferences, and collect information about how you use the site. We also use similar technologies — including pixel tags, web beacons, and local storage — which we collectively refer to as “cookies” in this Policy.
3. Categories of cookies we use
Essential cookies (always on). These cookies are strictly necessary for the Site to function. They cannot be switched off. They include cookies that remember your cookie consent choices, secure the Site against cross-site request forgery, and maintain session state for forms and the admin area. No personal information is shared with third parties through essential cookies.
Analytics cookies (opt-in in EU/UK; opt-out elsewhere). These cookies allow us to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve content and user experience. They collect information in aggregate form including pages viewed, time spent on the Site, navigation paths, referring URLs, and device characteristics. We use:
- Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC) — for high-level traffic and engagement analytics. IP address anonymisation is enabled. No advertising features are active. Data is retained for 14 months in identifiable form.
- Microsoft Clarity (provided by Microsoft Corporation) — for user-experience analytics including session recordings (with personal information masked) and heatmaps. Used to identify usability issues.
Marketing cookies (opt-in in EU/UK; opt-out elsewhere). These cookies allow us to measure the effectiveness of our outbound marketing campaigns and serve relevant content to people who have shown interest in specific service areas. We use:
- LinkedIn Insight Tag (provided by LinkedIn Corporation) — for conversion measurement on LinkedIn marketing campaigns and for serving relevant retargeting content to past Site visitors. Only active when LinkedIn campaigns are running.
We do not use cookies for cross-context behavioural advertising as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.
4. Third-party cookies
When you accept analytics or marketing cookies, the third parties listed above may place their own cookies on your device and may process the data they collect according to their own privacy policies:
- Google's privacy policy and controls: policies.google.com/privacy
- Microsoft's privacy statement: privacy.microsoft.com
- LinkedIn's privacy policy: linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy
5. Consent and controls
EU and UK visitors. When you first visit the Site from an EU or UK IP address, you will see a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or reject analytics and marketing cookies. Essential cookies are always active. Your choice is stored for 12 months; after that, the banner will appear again so you can refresh your consent.
Other jurisdictions. Visitors from outside the EU and UK can manage cookie preferences via their browser settings or by visiting the cookie preference link in the Site footer.
Changing your preferences. You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie preferences” link in the Site footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Browser controls. All major browsers allow you to block or delete cookies via their settings. Note that if you block essential cookies, parts of the Site may not function correctly. Most browsers also support a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — when received, we will treat it as a request to opt out of analytics and marketing cookies.
6. Do Not Track
Browser-based “Do Not Track” signals do not have a uniform interpretation. We respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as described above; we do not currently respond to legacy DNT signals separately.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted via the cookie consent banner.
